ALOS — Accessibility Statement
Effective date: September 22, 2026
Last updated: September 22, 2026
1. Our commitment
ALOS, operated by Ayekah & Co. Inc., is committed to making its platform usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across our interfaces.
Accessibility matters especially here: ALOS supports children's learning, and learners and families have a wide range of needs and abilities. We treat accessibility as part of doing this work well, not as an afterthought.
2. What we are doing
In building ALOS, we aim to:
- meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our design and development standard;
- provide the platform in both English and French;
- design clear, readable interfaces with adequate colour contrast and legible typography;
- support keyboard navigation and assistive technologies; and
- adapt the student-facing experience to the learner's developmental level.
3. Conformance status
ALOS has not yet been assessed by an independent accessibility audit. From our own evaluation — an automated scan of the platform's pages in both languages in August 2026, and review during development — ALOS is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: some parts of the platform do not yet fully meet the standard. An independent audit is planned, and we will update this statement with its results.
4. Known limitations
We know of these limitations and are working on them: some text and badges do not yet meet the minimum colour-contrast ratio; a small number of icon-only buttons and drop-down menus lack a name that assistive technology can read; and the contrast of non-text elements and of hover and focus states has not yet been fully measured. The sign-in and checkout screens are provided by third parties, and we do not control their markup. If you meet a barrier, please tell us (Section 5).
5. Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of ALOS. If you encounter a barrier, or need information from the platform in a different format, please tell us — your reports help us improve.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
6. Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review and work to improve the accessibility of ALOS as the platform evolves, and we will update this statement as our conformance status changes.
